Responsibilities Serves as work leader/senior supply specialist, performing a wide variety of work assignments in a self contained distribution operation involved in the receipt, inspection, storage, safeguarding, and handling of hazardous materials/property. Plans work to be accomplished by team members. Estimates and reports on expected time of completion of work and maintains records of work accomplishments and time expended. Amends or rejects work not meeting established standards. Analyzes chemical percentages of hazardous mixtures and solutions according to percent by weight as well as parts per million (ppm) to determine Reportable Quantities (RQ) limits. Prepares cost estimates to package, repackage, and pack hazardous material shipments for storage and transportation.
