Job Description
Overview
General Science Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Felxistowe and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality learning experiences across the Science curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics following provided plans
- Teach practical and theory-based content safely and effectively
- Support students in developing scientific understanding and investigative skills
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Adapt teaching strategies to support learners with a range of needs
- Contribute to department planning during longer-term placements
