Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Hewell, a Category B remand prison in Redditch, Worcestershire. The environment is fast‑paced and serves males aged 21+ with a range of needs including substance misuse and long‑term conditions.
Role
The role is part‑time, 8 paid hours per week (2 sessions). Additional hours are available to extend the shift up to 12 hours.
Annual salary up to £125,468 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑class healthcare to a diverse group of patients.
- Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis and timely management decisions.
- Offer specialist support to other healthcare team members and patients.
- Participate in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.
