General Practitioner - Neonatal ICU

This role will provide comprehensive inpatient neonatal care at King’s College Hospital under the supervision of Consultant/ Specialist Neonatologists. The Hospitalist will support the day-to-day clinical management of admitted neonates, ensuring continuity of care, accurate documentation, and adherence to hospital policies and neonatal care protocols.

The post-holder will:

• Provide day-to-day clinical care for neonatal inpatients under consultant supervision, including monitoring, treatment implementation, and coordination of care plans.
• Manage a caseload of neonates with a range of conditions, including preterm and high-risk newborns, primarily within inpatient neonatal units.
• Escalate clinical concerns promptly to supervising consultants and support implementation of agreed management plans.
