Job Description
Summary You will serve as a Construction Engineer (GS-0801, GS-0808) within the Project Management & Engineering Branch, Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) New London, of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic. Responsibilities You will be responsible for enforcement of all technical and administrative provisions of assigned construction contracts, to include compliance with contract plans, specifications, and scheduling. You will be required to apply sound engineering principles and judgment throughout the performance of duties. You will visit construction sites to monitor progress and solicit input input from the Engineering Technician/Quality Assurance (ET/QA) representatives, review CQC reports and attend QC meetings.
