Job Description

The mission of the Flight Test Facility (FTF) is to provide airborne platforms in support of specific research and development programs at Lincoln Laboratory, Department of Defense (DoD) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). FTF research aircraft are flown, maintained, and managed by a professional staff of pilots, certified maintenance technicians, and administrative personnel. The FTF’s first priority is safety of flight. All flight operations are conducted by using procedures and equipment that meet or exceed all FAA requirements. The FTF is an approved FAA Part 145 Repair Station and currently operates and maintains seven highly modified aircraft.
