Job Description

Brock University seeks a qualified Gender and Violence Instructor for its Women’s Studies program, effective September 1, 2026. This role involves teaching, grading, and engaging with students actively.
As an instructor, you will conduct lectures and oversee seminar activities while providing a supportive learning environment. Candidates should possess substantial interdisciplinary training and university-level teaching experience in Women’s Studies or related fields. Emphasis will be placed on applicants with a solid understanding of Feminist Theory and Methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare lectures and conduct scheduled contact time with students
• Administer grading, grading appeals, and course evaluations
• Oversee the first hour of seminar/lab sessions in a 2-hour/week course
