:Position Purpose:
The GBV Officer is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of GBV activities; mobilizing community leaders and men, boys, women and girls from the community to participate in awareness campaigns and discussions/dialogue on GBV, conducting community trainings, supervising community outreach facilitators and managing budget lines for response, mitigation and prevention activities. The officer will also work with the community and other sector staff to identify GBV risks and share findings on a regular basis to inform advocacy.
GBV officer will also be responsible and oversee the all activates according to the logical Frame work and make field office staff mobilize and well equipped to implement quality project activates and generate quality reports.
