Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven Gasoil Trader to manage and grow a middle distillate trading portfolio. The role focuses on optimising refinery system barrels, driving regional trading strategies, and expanding third‑party business across Asia-Pacific markets.

Reporting to the Head of Trading, the role will develop and execute trading strategies for gasoil across both spot and term markets with the objective of maximising value from refinery production. The role involves optimising placement of system barrels by identifying arbitrage opportunities, managing regional trade flows, and aligning decisions with refining economics. The incumbent will be responsible for the end‑to‑end trade lifecycle, including pricing, negotiation, contract structuring, and deal execution, while building and maintaining strong relationships with counterparties such as oil majors, trading houses, and regional distributors.
