Job Description
Take on a long-term contract role with weekly pay, consistent block-based work, and a day rate of around £240 as a Gas Engineer, carrying out gas works across residential properties in South Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a busy planned works programme with steady work available until April 2027.
Overview
You’ll be working mainly within the same apartment blocks, supporting kitchen programmes from start to finish. With no travel between jobs and a clear schedule of work, this Gas Engineer role is ideal for someone who can work efficiently, keep to programme targets, and complete work to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Capping off gas supplies ahead of kitchen works
- Completing first‑fix gas works for kitchen installations
- Returning at the end of the programme to reinstall and connect appliances
