F/W 26/27 - Classroom Support Technician

Purpose:
The Classroom Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support with various classroom technologies to facilitate the teaching of in person and hybrid classes.

Education:
Must be enrolled as a York student. Preference will be given to students enrolled in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study

Experience:
Previous work experience may be considered.

Skills:
1.Ability to learn and use a variety of computer applications, systems and hardware2. Proficient in the following computer systems and hardware:
- Microsoft Windows 10. macOS Big Sur
- Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Microsoft Word and PowerPoint)
- Wired and wireless network connectivity ( wireless networks and ethernet)
- Video conferencing systems ( Zoom and MS Teams)
- Learning Management and Lecture Capture Systems
