About the position 
As we head into our busy function season, Wests currently have several casual opportunities for customer-focused individuals to join their NEX events team. This role will have you providing a superior quality service over a variety of events, such as gala dinners, corporate events, school formals, concerts, conferences, exhibitions, and many more. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Set up and break down of functions
  • Preparation and service beverages
  • Table service for meals and beverages
  • Operation of tills and cash handling
  • Clearing tables and cleaning duties
  • Assisting guests with event inquiries before, during and after functions
  • Working closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and a memorable experience for our patrons.
