Full-Time Carpenter with Richmond School District

This role requires a journeyperson level Carpenter to perform various structural and non-structural tasks. You'll engage in projects like framing walls, installing cabinetry, and responding to carpentry emergencies. With two years of experience in commercial or institutional carpentry, your knowledge of current techniques and tools will contribute to maintaining a safe and functional learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Frame structures for new construction and renovations
• Install and repair walls, window frames, and doorframes
• Build and finish cabinets, counters, and shelving units
• Interpret plans and specifications for projects
• Respond to emergencies like roof leaks and vandalism
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent with TQ/Red Seal qualifications
