About the Role Our client, a Korean company based in Atlanta, GA, is building its own in-house freight brokerage capability and hiring an experienced Freight Broker to set it up and run it. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role for a self-starter who can build the brokerage function from the ground up: establishing carrier and customer networks, negotiating rates, managing loads, and growing a book of business. Strong freight brokerage experience is the top priority, and candidates of any nationality are welcome. Requirements Key Responsibilities Set up and build out the freight brokerage operation, including processes, carrier network, and customer base. Develop new business and build a book of business with shippers and customers. Source, vet, and build relationships with carriers, and secure capacity. Negotiate freight rates and manage margins.
