Job Description
Waste Connections is searching for our next All-Star Forklift Operator to join us at our West Van Materials Recovery Center (6601 NW Old Lower River Rd, Vancouver, WA 98660).
Starting rate of pay is $29.00/HR
Schedule is TUESDAY- SATURDAY
Shift is 10 AM- 6:30 PM (or until close/last truck out). Overtime often.
Safety Sensitive: YES
Qualified candidates must have Forklift operating experience.
REQUIRES ability to efficiently & safely operate Forklift.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate forklift or other equipment as needed.
Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Completes daily reports on pre and post trip inspections of equipment.
Yard and facility maintenance including debris and clean up.
Spotting Trucks.
