Forestry Superintendent - Indigenous Relations
As a Forestry Superintendent – Indigenous Relations, you will work with neighboring Indigenous communities to build an innovative and sustainable future, ensuring a healthy and resilient forest ecosystem while fostering strong business relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5‑10 years of related experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity and good understanding of Indigenous cultures and history across Alberta.
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
- Excellent communication, organization and time‑management skills.
- Proven experience with managing Indigenous relationships, preferably in a forestry context.
- Ability to promote Tolko as a potential employer for Indigenous people.
- Ability to lead and/or participate in meetings with Indigenous partners and communities.
