Forestry Machinery Plant Operator
About the Job
C3 operates a variety of heavy machinery on the wharf including High Stackers and Pivot Steers with log grapples. Our Operators ensure that logs are safely moved and stacked neatly and accurately in rows, so that they can be moved to the ship’s side when they are required to be loaded onto log vessels. As the role involves operating large machinery in a confined space on the wharf, accuracy, attention to detail and a strong focus on Health & Safety is a priority.
On offer is permanent work with guaranteed minimum hours per month. This position requires flexibility regarding working hours as there are a range of shifts across a 24/7 work environment influenced by shipping schedules.
About You
You will hold a minimum of a Class 1 licence with W endorsement and preferably have forestry experience in a log fleeting environment or similar. Training opportunities are available for the right ca...
