Job Description
Forepersons will oversee daily field operations for the Firewater Replacement Project, ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and company policies. The candidate may come from a Pipefitter or Equipment Operator background and has experience planning and supervising work involving trench boxes and protected excavations. This position is located in Fort McMurray, AB.
Essential Responsibilities
- Work with the project manager and superintendent to coordinate excavation, trenching, pipe installation, backfilling, and restoration activities
- Lead and supervise a crew of pipefitters, heavy equipment operators and labourers
- Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing impacts to schedule and budget
