Job Description
We are currently looking for a hands on Foreman to join a growing production and manufacturing team.
Main Purpose
The Foreman will be responsible for the efficient running of the manufacturing facility and to manufacture and deliver the highest quality product possible within the predetermined cost limits and established timescales.
Areas of Responsibility of foreman : Production
- Check estimated times and, if in doubt, agree with the works management manufacturing methods for each job to ensure agreed budget labour costs are not exceeded
- Check quality of all products being manufactured. Inform the Works management of any non-conformance.
- Ensure that scrap and wastage is kept to a minimum.
- Liaise with the works management to ensure that non-productive/Non-chargeable time is minimised.
