Foreman I Craftsman

Summary You will serve as a Foreman I Craftsman, leading a work crew in the accomplishment of Upper Columbia Area operations, maintenance and repair to the equipment and facilities assigned to the Yakima Field Office, and performs regular non-supervisory craftsman-level work also. Responsibilities Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Leads a team of tradesman to maintain and repair equipment and facilities related to water storage and conveyance systems (canals). Performs multiple trade skills at the journeyman level. Have general knowledge of several other trade skills and proper work methods. Ensure safe work practices are established and followed. Estimate, schedule, plan, and execute work tasks in a timely and professional manner. Communicate instructions and assignments to staff and communicate regularly with the supervisor.
