Summary This position is located in The Bureau of Emerging Threats, Front Office (ET/FO). ET advances a portfolio of threat-focused priorities and advances U.S. national security by anticipating and responding to national security challenges from adversary use of new technologies. ET identifies and counters emerging threats in cyberspace, outer space, critical infrastructure and undersea, quantum technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI). Responsibilities Develops foreign policy related to emerging threats such as cyberspace, outer space, critical infrastructure and undersea. Provides informational and policy planning consultations to colleagues and management officials on emerging threats, foreign affairs, and national security issues. Analyzes foreign policy issues to recommend policy and programmatic solutions in order to improve methods and meets organizational goals.
