We are seeking an experienced, confident and compassionate midwife to join our maternity leadership team as a Band 7 Flow, Safety and Escalation Lead Midwife. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new role within our maternity service, providing visible clinical and operational leadership to support safe care, effective patient flow and timely escalation across maternity services.

The post holder will maintain oversight of staffing, capacity, acuity and operational risk, working closely with labour ward coordinators, ward managers, matrons, the wider multidisciplinary team and operational colleagues. You will support safe decision-making, workforce redeployment, escalation and communication during periods of increased pressure, helping to ensure that women, birthing people, babies and families receive safe, personalised and compassionate care.
