Job Description
Purpose of Position: Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager – Western Canada, this role will oversee the scheduling of all deliveries/pick-ups for both the packaged and bulk (team of dispatchers and drivers).
Responsibilities
- Ensuring safe and optimized deliveries and pick-ups (bulk and packaged)
- Ensuring fleet repairs and maintenance are properly scheduled, managed and accounted for
- Approve invoices and liaise with Sr. Ops Mgr for any CAPEX requirements
- Organize and chair monthly driver meetings (with respective dispatchers)
- Ensuring Near Misses are reported, recorder and shared
- Update and responsible for department KPI’s
- Ensuring driver POVL’s provided in timely manner
- Ensuring any property, vehicle damages are reported and investigated in timely manner
