Wirtgen Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our Service Team.

Primary Role Responsibilities

1. Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair WIRTGEN Group construction and mining equipment.
2. Inspect, dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical components including hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive assemblies.
3. Install, align, adjust, and test mechanical equipment to manufacturer specifications.
4. Perform fault-finding using diagnostic equipment, service manuals, and technical documentation.
5. Conduct preventative maintenance and machine inspections to identify wear, defects, and required repairs.
6. Prepare and commission new machinery prior to customer delivery.
