Job Description
Join OSM Thome as a Fitter on our Chemical Tanker fleet. Embark on a worldwide journey, maintaining and ensuring the vessel's mechanical health.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on hull, decks, and structural components.
- Assist in routine inspections and report any necessary repairs.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are functioning optimally at all times.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to the vessel's operational efficiency.
- **Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role on chemical tankers.
- Solid understanding of vessel mechanical systems and components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in multicultural environments.
- Valid STCW certifications, including Designated Security Duties, would be advantageous.
