As a Firmware Engineer at HID, your role will be instrumental in designing and implementing the future of cutting‑edge secure embedded firmware applications. This position will report to the Engineering Manager and be part of a team of five, collaborating cross‑functionally with global engineering teams.
Essential Duties
- Design and implement new embedded firmware applications.
- Develop and maintain low‑level interfaces and existing code base.
- Document low‑level concepts and provide cross‑functional training.
- Consult with colleagues to assess interfaces between hardware and embedded solutions.
- Investigate and resolve reported defects promptly, ensuring timely solutions.
- Communicate effectively, providing regular updates and addressing team needs.
