Job Description
Seeking a Firewall Engineer with demonstrated experience managing and supporting Check Point firewall environments within large enterprise settings. This role is heavily focused on day-to-day firewall operations, including reviewing and implementing access requests, troubleshooting connectivity and policy-related issues, and supporting a fast-paced operational environment.
About the Role
- Strong hands-on administration experience with Check Point firewalls; candidates must have direct experience fulfilling firewall change and access requests rather than solely designing architecture
- Solid understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, ports, routing concepts, NAT, and traffic flow analysis
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve firewall policy and connectivity issues
- Experience following formal change control processes; exposure to ServiceNow is a plus
