Job Description
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize cloud usage and cost patterns
- Implement tagging policies, budgets and chargeback strategies
- Produce reporting and forecasting dashboards for cloud spend
- Collaborate with engineering to build cost-aware architectures
Must-have
- Deep understanding of cloud pricing models (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with cost management tools (CloudHealth, Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management)
- Knowledge of how IAC and scaling choices affect cost
- Ability to explain technical usage in business terms
Nice-to-have
- FinOps Certified Practitioner or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments
- Experience in building internal cloud governance models
