Job Description
To manage the financial accounting functions with overall responsibility for maintaining an efficient accounting service operation.
Management of payroll and financial accounting operations
- Financial reporting (including managing SARS requirements)
- Budgeting and management of financial expenditure
- Co-ordination of audits
- Stakeholder liaison and service delivery (including special projects)
- Team management
Self-management and performance ownership
Essential pre-requisites:
Three Year Financial Qualification e.g. B Comm / CIS / IAC / CCA)
(NQF level 5)
Professional Registration: CIS and IAC essential (If CA SAICA)
At least 3 years experience in similar role
Sound accounting skills (GAAP/IFRS)
- Financial analysis and interpretation skills
- Relevant legislation (Tax, etc)
- SARS requirements and developments (Regulations)
