Location: Esholt Office (BD17 7RH) – hybrid working
Salary circa £62,000 per annum
Bayfields Opticians & Audiologists is continuing its exciting growth journey, now operating 58 practices and expanding rapidly. To support this momentum, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller with a strong background in multi‑site retail and high‑growth environments who will report to our Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver month-end close by WD10, with a roadmap to improve to WD8.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and reliable management accounts.
- Maintain full balance sheet integrity, including timely reconciliations.
- Review and approve cashbook, journals, and accounting accuracy.
- Uphold strong cut‑off discipline.
- Support acquisition accounting and oversee financial integration of newly acquired practices.
