Financial Controller | 6 Month FTC | Cheshire | Up to £70,000
A fast-paced and growing business is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of core accounting, reporting, and controls on an interim basis. You’ll play a key role in strengthening financial governance, leading the month-end process, and supporting senior leadership with accurate, timely insight.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary.
- Own cashflow forecasting, treasury management, and full oversight of the cashbook and payment authorisations.
- Manage central overheads, accruals, prepayments, journals, budgeting, and cost control.
- Oversee and develop the AP & AR teams, ensuring strong performance, accuracy, and robust controls.
