Financial Consulting Associate - Accountant (Quickbooks)

Overview

RSM’s Finance as a Service (FaaS) practice is seeking skilled professionals for the Associate level. This role blends public‑accounting firm career growth with a private‑company environment, handling accounting, technology, and consulting services for clients with $0‑$100million revenues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key contact for clients in Purchase‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, and Month‑End Close cycles.
• Lead client accounts payable and accounts receivable teams.
• Process and record journal entries for revenue, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued expenses, payroll, and other month‑end areas in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, general‑ledger reconciliations, and client monthly financial statements with variance or budget analysis.
