Financial Accountant

About the Role

The Financial Accountant will support the Financial Accounting Team by completing month-end processes and monthly General Ledger Balance Sheet reconciliations for the Crown and the Department. They will clear outstanding items to ensure reported results are complete and accurate. All work is validated through a multi‑layered peer‑review and sign‑off process.

Role requires a deep subject‑matter expertise to provide advice that increases the understanding of financial accounting management within the Ministry.

Salary and Employment

Annual salary of $85,537–$101,911, depending on experience.

Full‑time permanent position, Wellington based.
