Financial Accountant

Full time permanent position, Wellington based. Salary range: $85,537–$101,911 (depending on experience).

About the Role

The Financial Accountant completes month‑end processes, monthly General Ledger Balance Sheet reconciliations for the Crown department, and clears outstanding items to ensure that reported results are complete and accurate. Validation of this work occurs through a multi‑layered robust and detailed peer review and sign‑off process. A deep subject‑matter expertise is required to provide advice that enhances the understanding of financial accounting management within the Ministry.
