Financial accountant

Overview

A Financial Accountant is needed to assist the Finance Manager in the overall finance function. The position requires a Chartered Accountant with broad knowledge of accounting concepts, IFRS standards, the Companies Act, accounting and taxation principles, system controls and procedures, valuations and discounted cash flows, and the ability to review financial records and reconciliations (general ledger, creditors). The incumbent must have a deep understanding of creditors, debtors and general ledger functions, and the ability to work with and advise senior and junior staff across the organization. Exceptional client service is required while upholding corporate governance standards. The incumbent should be able to represent the Finance Manager in meetings and conference calls.

The role requires strong technical and interpersonal skills to support finance operations and stakeholder engagement.
