Financial Accountant

Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will hold a BCom Accounting, BCompt, or equivalent qualification and have completed SAICA or SAIPA articles, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial accounting or similar role. Strong technical accounting knowledge (including IFRS and the Companies Act), advanced Excel skills, and experience with month-end and year-end processes are essential. Experience with Syspro or a similar ERP system, debtor finance, and exposure to foreign exchange and multi-currency transactions will be advantageous. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating strong integrity, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
