Job Description
We’re partnering with a leading diversified financial services group that is redefining insurance to be more accessible, transparent, and client-centric. They are looking for a Finance Actuary to join their growing Insurance team and play a key role in shaping the future of financial reporting and valuation.
As a Finance Actuary, you will contribute directly to the financial performance and resilience of the insurance business through:
Performing periodic (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual) insurance contract liability and profit calculations on an IFRS 17 basis.
Contributing to forecasted IFRS 17 profit calculations for annual budgets and re-forecasting cycles.
Supporting the calculation of solvency requirements in line with the Financial Soundness Standard for Insurers (previously SAM).
Assisting with the completion of quantitative reporting templates for statutory solvency reporting.
