About The Role
Mintlayer's finance team is being built in Abu Dhabi at a moment when the UAE is positioning itself as the global hub for institutional digital asset finance. The Finance and Accounting Lead owns management accounts, month‑end close, and the financial reporting pack that leadership and investors use to make decisions.
What You Will Own
- Produce monthly management accounts and the financial reporting pack for leadership review
- Own the month‑end close process: reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries across all entities
- Process vendor payments and maintain the AP ledger, including crypto and fiat payment workflows
- Serve as primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors
- Maintain the accounting system and ensure accurate transaction classification
- Support the Head of Accounts on board‑level financial reporting and investor due diligence
