1. Field trial support
Assist with land preparation activities, including plowing, harrowing, fertilizer application, and plot preparation. Also assist with planting, labeling, and maintenance of field trials and nurseries.
Support seed preparation, packing, and organization before planting activities.
Assist in field layout establishment according to provided field maps and planting instructions.
Carry out routine field activities including weeding, fertilizer application, irrigation, spraying, and rouging under supervision.
Support harvesting, threshing, cleaning, and packaging of trial materials and seed samples.
Help verify plot labels, field books, and sample identities to minimize errors.
Assist in the routine maintenance of field equipment and research materials.
Support implementation of trial management activities according to instructions from supervisors.
