Job Description
**Position Description & Qualifications**
As an Field Service Technician, you will be a member of a team to support the Undersea Warfare (USW) Electromagnetic Systems Department (Code 34) of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) in support of Communication Systems and Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) programs.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Utilize general test equipment and tools and special purpose equipment to mate/unmate the SubHDR Mast Equipment Group (MEG) from the Antenna Pedestal Group (APG) to perform specific tests of the components of the SubHDR to support over the air (OTA) testing to complete the ready for issue (RFI) process.
+ Utilize general test equipment and tools and special purpose equipment to test the APG after separation and prior to installation when it returns from repair.
