Field Service Technician

Qualification Trade Tested Diesel / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Mechanical Engineering Requirements Minimum 5-7 years experience working on road construction or heavy earthmoving equipment. Proven experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics, diagnostic capability. Experience with asphalt paving, compaction, and paving machines will be advantageous. Willingness to travel extensively and work on construction sites. Duties The role involves field service support across customer sites and dealers' premises in South Africa and adjoining countries, Western Africa. Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on road construction equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults.
