Job Title: Field Service EngineerJob Description
The Field Service Engineer supports the installation, startup, and commissioning of automated equipment. This role focuses on programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, drives, servos, and robotics onsite at customers throughout the US.
The Field Service Engineer collaborates closely with electrical and mechanical teams and plays a key role in upgrading and retrofitting automation equipment.
+ 75% travel annually
+ All expenses paid, hotel, rental car, flights all booked ahead of time
+ Typical travel is 5-10 days at a time
+ + state per diem
+ 70 hour work weeks typically when traveling, overtime over 40 hours
When not traveling, you will work remotely on troubleshooting, documentation, ect.
