Field Research Scientist - Global Travel

The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate an extensive background of travel to complex and remote locations, and an ability to plan field travel and solve challenges in the field.

We are seeking a Field Research Scientist to join a global research team focused on advancing biodiversity science through innovative fieldwork and international collaboration. This position has two main components: managing international research partnerships and leading field expeditions to biodiversity hotspots worldwide.

Both activities support the collection of microbial diversity data that contributes to one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing databases of protein sequences.
