About the Opportunity
Our Client is seeking a Principal Functional Safety and Control Systems Discipline Engineer for an urgent 2-month gap cover assignment starting early June 2026. This role is pivotal in ensuring technical safety integrity while a permanent team member is on secondment.
Key Responsibilities
Specifically, you will provide specialist support for control systems and functional safety, ensuring all legal obligations are met. You will work alongside the Lead Functional Safety Engineer to challenge project teams and ensure high-level system design. Key tasks include applying Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and risk assessment methodologies like SWIFT to critical infrastructure.
About You
To be successful, you will be a hit the ground running professional with:
