Job Description
Overview
On‑site data centre and telecom field work across the Emirates. Engaged either via a valid freelance permit or as a sponsored full‑time hire.
Responsibilities
- Rack stack cable and commission servers, switches and network hardware.
- Structured copper and fibre cabling, patching, testing, labeling.
- First‑line maintenance break‑fix and hardware swaps to SLA.
- Site surveys, audits, decommissioning and asset recovery.
- Document each job via photos, completion reports and ticketing.
- Hands‑on data centre / telecom field experience in the UAE.
- Comfortable with work orders, runbooks and rack elevations.
- Own tools and reliable transport to site.
Requirements
- Freelancers must hold a valid UAE freelance permit/licence; full‑time applicants should hold or be eligible for residency/work visa sponsorship.
