Fibre Permitting Engineer (Northern)

Responsibilities

Responsible for daily management of permitting activities by vendors scopes including weekly updates on progress, escalation to vendor management and reporting to Permitting Lead and Permitting Project Manager.

Maintain strong relationships with all road owners such as local councils (PBT), JKR & Landlords, and manage relationships with jurisdictions and ROW contacts.

Work closely with the rights group to identify and prepare start work permits and building access.

Oversee timely permitting submission, review and endorse the Technical Proposal in line with authorities’ guidelines & requirements, attend JSV, ensure UDM works/report done accordingly, push for consent letter, BD/BG payment, permit follow up with PBT, JKR & Land Office.

Monitor and manage all permitting activities by vendors including liaison with state appointed OSA (One Stop Agency).
