To promote positive parenting in our groups and sessions, enabling parents and carers to support their children's development in group/session settings. to follow planning and model techniques that support parents and carers to understand the developmental ages and stages of their children. to engage parents in conversation and encourage peer support for the wellbeing of the family. Groups can be virtual as well as face to face, one to one support is occasionally called upon.

The successful candidate will follow a school readiness pathway through play sessions using the EYFS guidelines, as well as have a good understanding of birth to school development stages, including, nutrition, potty training, sleep and typical behaviours. Healthy Family Hub Practitioner are part of a team so support is always available if required.
