Summary Joining the Secret Service, Office of Field Operations, New York Field Office will allow you to monitor and evaluate the functionality of the assigned facility, which includes managing contract services for construction, maintenance, cleaning and repair of the facility. Responsibilities The selectee will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Office of Field Operations, New York Field Office. Typical work assignments include: Serving as an expert analyst in assessing the assigned field office facility maintenance and construction programs effectiveness and the improvement of facility management processes and systems. Developing building operations plans which include conducting inventory of equipment contained in the building; ascertaining which building equipment and/or systems need to be monitored; and scheduling preventative maintenance to be performed on building equipment.
