Facilities Technician -Plumber

Overview

We currently have an opportunity for a Facilities Technician Plumber to join our Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice team and play a key role in our high‑performance team. Reporting to Site Manager, you’ll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deal with unexpected events and provide direction to work for teams.
• Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and propose solutions.
• Undertake scheduled maintenance, first‑response and reactive activities to mitigate disruption to customers.
• Work hands‑on to complete work safely and meet client and contract requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• NZ Registered Plumber or NZ Certified Plumber / Tradesman Plumber.
• Full Class One driver’s licence with ability to drive a manual vehicle.
