Why This Role Matters
As Facilities Manager on the Gold Coast within the Savills Asset Management team, this role is responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the building services and physical infrastructure of a high-profile retail asset in one of Australia’s best-known tourist-driven precincts.
Working closely with the Centre Manager and Operations Manager, this role will focus on the technical and facilities side of the asset, including plant and equipment, essential services, contractor performance, preventative maintenance, statutory compliance, tenant maintenance matters, defects, risk management and capital works support.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced facilities professional who enjoys being on site, understanding how a building works, dealing directly with contractors and tenants, and ensuring the asset is maintained to a high standard.
